Snow groomers production
For more than 30 years the company FAVERO LORENZO has been producing snow groomers and trailers for snowmobiles, designed keeping the needs of private users, ski resort and small cross-country ski trails managers in mind.
Quality, commitment and closeness to the consumer: these are the goals which our small, family run company has placed at the core of its activities from the beginning.
The products we offer are the result of constructive communication with the customer which allows us to directly identify needs and enhancements. These characteristics are clear in the adaptations of our products and the prototypes which have been created over the years, starting with the specific needs of a customer.
Early timesIt was the early 1980s when, in Montebelluna, world capital of ski boots, Lorenzo Favero attempted to build a small, hand crafted snowcat, destroying a friend's Lambretta.
1980sHe never would have imagined that not long afterwards it was to become is primary business, involving the entire family.
FelixMany modifications and improvements led to the construction of the first small, open snow groomer (Felix): primary users are ski resort managers or owners of private refuges who face significant transportation difficulty during the winter season.
F170In the 1990s the F170 model was introduced, a unit which was to be marketed not only in Italy, but also in Austria, Germany and Switzerland with various drive trains and displacements. This snow groomer is still in demand by various customers almost 30 years later, especially by radio repeater repairers who cannot do without the lightweight characteristic of this vehicle which can even be transported via helicopter.
1990sIn the meantime the demand for a more robust and powerful snow grooming vehicles led to the design of the Snow Rabbit in the early 1990s, powered by Volkswagen and equipped with Italian made power-assisted hydraulics.
Snow RabbitBy doing so, the company Favero was in an excellent position in the small snow groomer market, covering the entire European market in the 1990s and stretching as far as Russia and Korea.
Snow Rabbit 3Yet another milestone was reached in 2000 with the introduction of the Snow Rabbit 3, a more robust and powerful snow groomer than the previous models, driven by 100hp and equipped with a cutter and two furrowers for cross-country ski trails. The Snow Rabbit 3, thanks to continuous improvements which were the result of close cooperation with customers and dealers, has gained the global small snowcat market over the years.
